Support Abraha Desta and His Family

An urgent call to support for the hero of our time Abraha Desta It is expected that in the coming two months, Abraha Desta will be released from the notorious prison cell after serving two years of degrading and harsh treatment by the regime. Following the foot-steps of his heroic for fathers Abraha Desta stood strong against injustice and repression and promoted freedom and liberty which motivated the youth of Tigray in particular and the Ethiopian youth in general for democratic change . For only holding his own political opinion and viewpoint, Abraha was a target for harsh political repression and torture, and his family members were expossed for inhumane treatment and discrimination. They were denied their rights to work and his sister was fired from her job as health professional and two of his graduate brothers were denied to apply for work although they were among the graduates who have the highest scores. His mother was harshly mistreated by the regime thugs and she was told that Tigray was not her place to live and she must leave where her son claims to be his homeland.

 It is assumed that after his release, the oppression will follow against Abraha and he will face difficulty both economically and morally aiming that he would give up and become helpless in the political situation of our homeland. Therefore, we have moral and citizenship responsibility to support him both morally and materially regardless of political or any other differences. For this purpose, Ato Natnael Asmelash who lives in USA is assigned by his family members and the party members whereby Abraha was a member to create online fundraising events and hence he created an account at Gofundme. Besides, it is made clear that there will be a bank account in Ethiopia by Abraha or his family members where supporters can directly send their support directly.   ለጀግናው ኣብርሃ ደስታ ድጋፍ የቀረበ ወቅታዊና ታሪካዊ ጥሪ ለሁላችን ለኢትዮጵያውያን በቀጣዮቹ ሁለት ወራት የሚኖረን በጣም ወሳኝ፣ወቅታዊና ታሪካዊ ጥሪ እንደሚከተለው እናቀርባለን፡፡ ሁላችንም እንደናውቀው ኣብርሃ ደስታ የኣባቶቹን የሀገር ፍቅር ስሜት፣ ጅግንነት፣ደፋርነትና ብልህነት ታጥቆ፥የትግራይ ወጣቶችን  ኣነቃቅቶ የትግራይና የኢትዮጵያ ወጣቶችን የለውጥና የነፃነት ተነሳሽነትና ሞራል ወደሁዋላ ወደማይንሸራርትበት ከፍታ ደረጃ ያደረሰ፣ የለውጥና የነፃነት ሃዋሪያ የሆነው ወንድማችን መምህር ኣብርሃ ደስታ በወህኒ ጨለማ ውስጥ በመማቀቅ እንዳለ ይታወቃል!  ጀግናው ወንድማችን ኣብርሃ ደስታ ህዝብን በመበደል የሚደሰት ስርዓትን በመቃወም፣ በተለይ የትግራይ ህዝብ ለተሻለ ለውጥ ብሎ ብዙ መስዋዕትነት ቢከፍልም ወደባሰ ኣፈና፣ ስቃይና መከራ መግባቱን የሚያሳይ ስርዓቱ በኣብርሃ ላይ እያደረሰ ያለውን ግፍና መከራ እንደምሳሌነት ማየት ይቻላል፡፡ ኣብርሃ ከዚህ የሁለት ዓመት ግፍና መከራ እስር በሁዋላ በሚቀጥለው በሓምሌ ወር መጀመሪያ ከእስር እንደሚፈታ ይጠበቃል፡፡
