About the Conference

In Report No. 6 (2012-2013) on "A coherent integration policy" the government said that all children and young people in Norway will have good conditions and equal opportunities for education and self-expression. 
We want the conference to show both current issues and practical measures that can be useful input as to how these children should be addressed and included in the Norwegian society in the best possible way. 
MIX Integration Conference is aimed at people who through their work in contact with children and young people with asylum and refugee backgrounds. There is a great need for more knowledge about this group's situation and living conditions in Norway. This applies to most areas of society, both within the various agencies and groups. 

Our objective of the conference is to convey facts and empirical knowledge:  The quantification of children and adolescents with asylum and refugee distinctive situation and their special needs.  To view the opportunities and challenges these children and young people can get a meeting with Norwegian government and organizations.  To help the people who come into direct or indirect contact with this group, either in their profession or by working in organizations will have strengthened their skills and get better equipped to meet the challenges at any time face.
