France’s Consul in Ethiopia issues
security advice
France warns its citizens from travelling to Addis Ababa and
potential target areas which include residential areas,
business offices, hotels, clubs, restaurants, places of
worship, schools, public areas, shopping malls, and other
tourist destinations both in the United States and abroad
where its citizens gather in large numbers.
The bomb explosion in the Bole neighbourhood in Addis
Ababa on 13 October “only confirms the reality of the
terrorist risk in Ethiopia”, according to the message sent to
his compatriots on 16 October by Jerôme Periolat, the
French consul in Addis Ababa.
The fact is revealed as TPLF cadres deliberately planted and
detonated a self-made bomb on 13 October 2013. This is
merely to blame the Ethiopian muslims and the growing
opposition groups so as to falsely accuse them of terrorist
act and throw the opposition members into prison.
